The light bulb in the picture could symbolize how the earth is like the bulb and no matter how small or big the space; life finds a way to grow and thrive. Or it could be the birth of ideas and be developing from a seed to an actual flower. The only color that catches the eye is the white, yellow and green of the flower and everywhere else its a darker, gloomier color. I think that relates to the hope that ideas or life can grow in this environment.
The airplane tattoo symbolizes how where you take your life/journey and the decisions you make is up to you. This is connected with the map shown in the background relating to the world is open to everyone to be discovered. Looking at the arm it shows that the person who has this tattoo is young and being at that age there is more time to take the chances to travel and see unknown places.
The sunlight streams through the branches of the tree branches fill the image with light and makes everything seem to glow including the horse’s tail. It looks like the picture was taken early in the morning or a sunset by how the trees in the back are dark and no light is shinning through them. The picture reflects a very tranquil and peaceful mood by how the horse is grazing on the grass and how the sun is set in the sky.
This is the coolest picture i have seen. I like how the camera captures part of the background of the beach and most of the picture captures the water and the shape of the wave and how the difference between underneath the waters itself and the beach. The girl swimming adds the wow factor in the image because it shows two different perspectives.
At the top of the hill of across road is a tiny red car in the distance; it looks like it has stop to see the downward view of the hill. The person taking the photograph has already have the drive from where the car is and is looking back to see how far it really seems. The road could symbolize the journey one has to take to get to one side to another and the fear of doing downward on a steep hill is daunting but getting to the other side to realize it wasn’t that bad after all. The trees that are filled with fall colors could connect with the journey as time passes just like the seasons; it’s a cycle.
Since my sister had gotten her ducklings, ducks have been on my radar constantly through images, texts and seeing them at school. When we first got the two ducklings we put them in the sink to see how they would react to the water. The little duckings loved it and this picture represents exactly that; even through there are many more than just my sister’s two ducklings. Its a wonder how they are so small and automatically have no fear of the water thanks to their natural instinct.
This is so adorable of the baby elephant having a blast at the beach. I chose this picture because of the different sequences and made it seem like a flip book if placed in the correct order. The larger photo of the elephant seems like his face is flat against the sand since his trunk is not visible.
This looks really realistic to the eyes to the color of the hair to the shade of the lips. The left side of her face seems like there is a light of some sort shining in that direction to make the hair appear a golden hue. The girl’s green eyes stare right at you and they draw you in to her face. The strands of her hair which are everywhere make it seem like a photograph and not a perfect painting. The braid gives a lot of detail and adds to the portrait of the girl.
Which looking at this picture, you notice the alley and the end which leads to a white building. Taking time to look more closely, the dancer balancing on the bicycle comes into view. Her leg seems to be close enough to touch the wall near her. The balance of holding on to the lamp post and her foot on the bicycle seem unstable and produce an uneasy feeling. The dancer portrays grace within her pose with her right arm extending out and her head slightly back.
This image shows how creating a character by hand is a step by step process. Using the Dalmatian as a model to show the expression of the face and eyes must help a lot to help the animator capture that within the character in the film. Looking at the real life dalmatian and the dog on the drawing pad has some similarity but more cartoonish. Looking beyond the animator and the dog; on the wall is filled with the scenes of the movie and that detail which is drawn by hand is remarkable.
